The Good Life Diaries
Michael Herklots began his career in the retail Cigar business in Boston in 1998. He relocated to New York City in 2002 where he currently works and resides. Aside from his duties in the retail business, he regularly travels to the Dominican Republic, and hosts events and seminars around the country on enjoying "The Good Life". Herklots is a teacher for the American Sommelier Association and is a contributing writer for several national publications.

Dominican Republic
I just returned from a quick trip to the Dominican Republic. Within hours of my feet touching Dominican soil, I felt like I never left. I get to the Dominican Republic about four times a year, and every time is unique and special. This year I brought my girlfriend and two friends along with me- making it extra special.
