Santa Maria Novella, a Florence, Italy-based pharmacy started by monks in the 13th century, has gone global with stores in New York and L.A., but it draws on a more local source for this cologne's inspiration: the Toscano cigars of Lucca, Italy. Tabacco Toscano (we're told) has a sparkling, floral air to it and upon using, changes into a leather-like yet airy tobacco scent, which grows in strength over time.
